I've driven our Lexus now for eighteen months, including a 2000+ mile trip around France and Spain. We both agree it is far and away the most reliable and comfortable car we've owned and a total pleasure to drive, as well as ticking the practical environmental box at the present level of technology. I've owned Mercs, Volvos, Jaguars and Range Rovers and none of them get close to the Lexus. Fuel consumption is acceptable at around 36+ mpg on average.

Dont be discouraged by reviewers who dont like the mouse pad. Imagine back in the early days when we didnt know how to use a computer mouse properly... its the same kind of scenario. We have a Lexus NX, and it didnt take us long to get used to it. Once we got used to it, it is easy to use.

You might need to go and discuss your driving style with someone. Driving style will need to change in order to get the most out of the hybrid system, very different from driving a diesel setup. I am driving Lexus hybrids for a good few years now and never get anything less than 47mpg, most days I get 53>

Now that the NX 3O0h 2020 has improved infotainment + Apple Car Play/Android Auto, does it make this car a serious option in this sector?

The Volvo more economical?? Only fully charged and small distance... The petrol engine alone drinks like a Russian on holiday... Lol

I’m 12 and Lexus’s are my dream cars but my parents drive Toyota’s. Although they are the same brand and cheap in parts I prefer Lexus. 🙂

I've had mine for 4 years after downsizing from the RX450h & find it perfect for my needs.
My wife & I have just transported our son & his £3k bicycle (which he didn't want on the roof) on a 2500 miles round trip to eastern Europe. Comfortable, untiring driving all the way there & back with no worries (unlike a Range Rover) that it would break down.

2018 models and up do get Apple Carplay and Android Auto. If your model doesn’t Have it, take it to Lexus and they’ll update the software for you.

I don’t know how they are driving this. My C200 estate hybrid does nearly 40mpg however I drive it. Maybe these people need to learn how to drive a hybrid.

Yeah, honestly, these cars are amazing on every level.

As with most reviewers, she doesn't like CVT transmissions. Why didn't she say she'd rather have a German car
The car DOES come with Apple car play and Android Auto, so you can plug your phone in for navigation.
She also didn't mention the money you'd save by not constantly having to get things fixed.

To the reviewer... Wake up and smell the roses. I have travelled extensively in a 2018 F Sport. Fantastic ambience, quality interior that's a pleasure to travel in. The stereo is a ten speaker Pioneer. The touch pad is fine... Why drive a bland Euro box diesel SUV that will develop multiple faults with a pitiful three year warranty when Lexus offer a ten year warranty and fifteen years on the Hybrid drive train... When you see these on the road they stand out and have something about them that sets them apart.... who cares about a few

I've said it a few rimes, why aren't there diesel hybrids? Run on the battery in the city then use the normal engine on the motorway, best of both worlds.

My 520i on the motorway does between 42-47 mpg. In town 30-40mpg. My 520d was doing 65mpg on the motorway. For a hybrid up to 40mpg is bad.

I pre-ordered the the new 2022 NX 350 AWD with 2.4L turbo petrol, 275bhp and 8 speed automatic. Did I do the right thing by choosing that over the hybrid?

Had one f sport it was lovely But fuel consumption was bad and the cvt gear box is useless for towing had a 1350 caravan it would not pull it up a small hill, tow bar was £1200 the hole thing was a waste of money if you want to tow
