Today my leg day. Might give this routine a go but add some more intensity to it. 💪🏾

I am 15, and I just switched from body building to calisthenics; reverse Nordic curls are so much more difficult than expected.

Ending it with an isometric hold is a sweet spot.🎯

Hill sprints, skip rope, kick pads/a bag and some road work if you don’t want to get under the iron which is ok.

and this is the problem with calisthenics: its leg exerrcise options are minimal and difficult to progressively overload. there were no hamstring exercises in this routine

I tried this workout and it's worth it to do

Is it possible to gain this level of leg muscle with these workouts without any weights?

Why have a certain amount of reps just go to failure then if you get more than 20 add weight so it doesn't turn into cardio

Can't beat reverse Bermuda split squat twist jumps. Did a set 20 years ago and have just finished healing...

I do all of these, except reverse nordic. Side lunges improved my mobility the most

My quads keep cramping or tightening during my pistol squats. Is this normal or is there a fix?

Calisthenics is simply not optimal for leg development. You can't deny that. Now, you can still build nice legs, but you''ll get more out of machines and weights.

Combine calisthenics and weights for the best development. Do pull-ups, dips, rows, and push-ups for your upper body, and do kettlebell deadlifts, kettlebell squats, barbell hip thrusts, and stuff like that for legs.

Doing hundreds of bodyweight squats until your legs feel like wet noodles does the trick, but it's mainly gonna hit quads, and each workout is gonna be A LOT longer.

The way this is my warmup and I’m not even kidding… I been doing the majority of these workouts without knowing it was calisthenics 😂😂

Кстати, все упражнения полезные. Хотя местами лучше с весом выполнять.

At some point bodyweight wont be sufficient for maximizing calf, glute, and quad genetics no matter how much pause reps or lengthened partials you do 😩
