I tried wrestling for my highschool team after years of karate, and unconsciously bowed on my way into the gym far too many times. Could not shake "karate kid" as a nickname after that

There's a dude at my workplace that constantly softly punches the walls and every other day we will find holes in boxes stacked on the shelves because he would walk past them and just throw a jab at them.

The bowing is funny - ran into a retired Sensei, in the supermarket, had a chat, and then when it was time for me to leave, he bowed - a very slight bow - unnoticeable to the uninitiated, hahaha.

Agreed, the bowing is controllable, but the punching bag thing is not a urge I can tame
