I have been SURROUNDED by these people my WHOLE life and THEY always made me feel like I was the one w/the problem so I NEVER felt NORMAL. In reality, I was the only one normal.

Had a sociopath boss. It was the stare that got me researching the topic. Also, if she smiled or laughed, her eyes were always cold and brutal. Super creepy vibe.

Unfortunately, we as a generation(millennial/gen z) throw around this label way too commonly. I’m guilty of this as well, until I got attached to a sociopath. The real thing is way worse than just hurt feelings. Stay educated and most importantly, TRUST YOUR GUT

This sounds like my family. They make you feel guilty and wrong for creating healthy boundaries.

I thought I was involved with a narcissist, but after seeing this I am involved with a sociopath. I have established no contact. Thank you very much 🙏

You just described my most recent ex boyfriend to the letter. Allergic to accountability, believes all his opinions are facts, indifference to the pain and hurt feelings they cause others, exploitative, manipulative, judgmental and cruel. Controlling and entitled as he is impulsive. Rude and selfish as he is unempathetic… impossible to have any healthy connection:(

According to that fine book The Sociopath Next Door the best way to tell if someone's a sociopath is they'll try to make you feel sorry 😭 for them. That was priceless for me to learn and you see it all the time. Also at least one in 25 Americans is a sociopath and that book was published a long time ago.

Oh my gosh, one of my former bullies were like this. Now I know why she was like that. I have ran into many sickos like this in my life. They always make it seem like we are the ones who are bad when it is actually them. Sickos they are!

My stepfather fell on the spectrum and he loved being angry as often as he could be - over anything that could give him even the slightest excuse.
When we asked him to get some help so as to not be so explosive in the house as it was shredding both mine and my mother’s nerves; she was a sensitive redhead - and had a sixth sense and got anxious and stressed with his constant unwarranted and sudden outbursts. He simply laughed and replied:
“But I’m fine, honestly I’m fine.”
He didn’t give a toss about the stress he was inflicting on others - quite the opposite as he often seemed to enjoy it.

This is the perfect description of my father’s personality.. so much makes sense now, but is also very sad since I now realise I can’t be around his toxicity as it’s terrible for my mental health. Lots of love to any kind people out there dealing with this sort of drama 🧡

This video describes a narcissist. Or my X-wife and now my eldest son. They are very difficult to spot until you live with them. If you are an empath like myself, watch out! The best warning is that they never take responsibility when things go wrong.

Too complicated . A real sociopath is networking to secure and advance themselves on the Status ladder (psychologically and literally) and are on the lookout for flaws or information by another person that can be used to degrade that person usually using humorous ridicule behind that persons back if an when needed. Yes of course they will lie but only when they know it can't be proved and change sides when really necessary.
They are a lot more cunning and instinctive than this video portrays.
