r/Prorevenge In today's episode, OP works as a delivery driver and gets a significant amount of his income from tips. Unfortunately, his toxic boss has a policy where drivers have to share tips with the company, which is extremely illegal. OP patiently waits and collects as much evidence as he can before eventually handing over all the evidence to the IRS. The IRS gleefully audits the boss's company, and in the end OP gets a huge payout!

Fun fact: if your pay rate is under minimum wage but relies on Tips, your employer is legally obligated to pay the difference up to minimum wage if your tips don't add up to it.

Don't mess with the IRS.

If there is one tip that I always gave the younger generations in my family, it's this... you NEVER burn bridges in a job because you have NO idea who you might encounter down the road. Even the bosses that I hated with a passion never knew it because I was sweet as pie. All the complaining could wait until I got home with my immediate family.

Muttley is an amazing, iconic character and I loved how he ended up embracing the nickname and turning it into Karens worse nightmare. What a power move lol!

When he said "Karen.was.angry", i was disappointed and my day is ruined. Was expecting "Livid" 🤣

Ironically, Mutley is actually a mischievous character that sometimes sabotaged Dick Dastardly just for fun and was the real brains of the operation. He’s one of my favorite Hannah Barbara characters 💕

I can’t help but feel a little bad for the people actually named Karen. My MIL is named Karen and she is delightful.

Just a reminder: the IRS might as well follow you into the afterlife to get paid (unless you're rich)

I think I might have an addiction to R/slash, am I the only person who listens to this daily? And when you cannot watch Rslash your day feels wrong? No, just me? 😂🤣

The labor laws story reminds me of my old job. They tried to list all their employees as "salary exempt", which meant that they did not have to pay overtime. The thing is, they actually didn't pay employees enough to be considered exempt. They tried using the commissions we got as part of the salary, but they actually were considered a "bonus" on our paychecks. So in reality, they were only paying us minimum wage. On top of that, they usually understaffed most stores so we usually had to work 6 days a week, with 10 hour shifts. My record was a worked a YEAR straight open to close. The only days off I got was the major holidays (Christmas, Thanksgiving, etc..). Someone finally put 2 and 2 together and blew the whistle on them. They had to pay EVERYONE who was working, or had recently worked, for the company 2 years of back OT pay. I remember sitting in that meeting when they handed out the checks. The owner said "You may be tempted to smile or be happy about these checks, but this is NOT A HAPPY DAY". I looked at my check and it was a little over $30k!!! I was pretty damn happy about that. Some employees who drank heavily from the corporate kool-aid actually offered to sign the checks back over to the company. One guy said "You have treated us so well, I would love to give this back to you.".. WTF? If they treated us well, then they would have paid us correctly. From what I understand, the company had to take out a huge loan to do this, and they were never able to dig out. They ended up closing a year later. Banks came in without warning and shut the stores down. I ended up at a tech company, where my starting salary was way more than I was making after 10 years with the other company. So to whoever blew the whistle with that company, THANK YOU!
