I got revenge on my ex roommate by taking the window unit A/C that I had paid for, removed the mounting frame for it from the window, put wood putty spackle in the screw holes, painted over, and the window would work good as new. She called me up, threatening to sue me but I knew she had no case. Ruined her summer.

if you can uno reverse scam a scammer, go for it.

Scamming the scammer was morally correct in my mind but, I may be a bit jaundiced at my advanced age. 😂🤣😂

For Ikea delivery, I would expect "Home Delivery" to mean the items would be placed inside the domicile.

It is said that two wrongs don't make a right. And stealing from a thief is still theft. But it sure seems like a kind of justice, because the scammer has definitely committed theft on many people, and getting back at him/her at least levels the playing field a little.

Story 3 - it depends when it happened. During the pandemic they would only deliver curb side and were not allowed to take items inside, hence the asking for it under the table. I got some ikea things in 2020 and they were only allowed to bring the boxes to the front steps.

One thing you are forgetting is that op changes the password to the Wi-Fi which means the computer probably won't connect to it and I'm pretty sure they're using mobile Wi-Fi to connect your phones to it so you won't have to worry about data charges which means they still can't look up tutorials on how to correct the Wi-Fi

The comment made about losing internet capabilities being more than mildly inconvenient is just more proof that it should be a utility at this point.

It is fine to steal from scammers because they are not real people with souls.

Whenever I get a big delivery, I open the door for the delivery guys and they always put it in my house with no complaints. Lol!! It also helps to hold a baby.

Story 6: Oh. My God. Bob was a real-life version of Gilderoy Lockhart! The only thing he lacked was the ability to Obliviate people who actually knew the job.

Taking a scammers money is essentially taking money from another victim. They really don’t care.

That last story sounds like something a hotheaded manager would do. Always wants the credit for good things, blames underlings for bad things.

In the words of Katara: "Stealing is wrong... unless it's from pirates (scammers in this case)

Taking the scammers money was a pro revenge and revenge ain't always legal. No problem with scamming the scammer though

Just because it feels good doesn't mean it's not right, as well.

Story 3. Curbside delivery is very common. The 50 is a tip (not professional to ask for) honestly I would've took a pic of all the items marked the paper work sgn refused. And left.

I had a large home delivery from IKEA just last week, and on the website it literally stated "home delivery to a room of your choice". The two guys turned up, lugged EVERYTHING up a flight of stairs, into my flat and indeed into a room of my choosing. It was the perfect service! This is UK, so maybe it's just different/shit in the US.

Sorry, obligatory abridgement reference.
