In a previous position, part of my responsibility was to hire new staff. Skills can be taught; personality and how you get along with others is, in many respects, one of the biggest assets you can bring to the table. Stay positive, be who you are and if the fit is right, you’ll be hired.

I just want you to know that the advice you gave in this video gave me the courage to apply and interview for a position I thought I wasn't qualified for. AND GUESS WHAT! I GOT THE JOB! Thanks :)

Too many women focus on what they can't do versus what they could do. Already set up for excuses and failure. Most men assume they can and portrait the confidence to do it. They take on the challenge. We need to change our mindset!

Literally randomly clicked on this and I'm an instructional designer.

It means something that you have an interview scheduled. Be confident in that.

The biggest hurdle is sometimes persuading the interviewer or showing them that yes you can do the job. The interviewr can be very skeptical or scrutinizing sometimes. One of my biggest hurdles.

I so needed this & I love your hair...
You commented on my new salon booth rental. You also helped me so much at the DR event in Dallas this past January!

Thank you for this video. I am kind of in that shoe but maybe slightly have a differing situation I think. I do not know.

I have a degree in Safety with no internship or any kind of work experience in safety. I am a people person, I have good listening skills, and can descend to diagnose a good fix.

And after listening through the video, I feel that thump that, I can do this in the interviews coming up.

Thank you for sharing the video.

I have had three coworkers over 10 years who were not qualified for their positions. They sucked the life out of the rest of us, who took on the work they could not do. It was hell. It did lead me to being self-employed, and my income doubled.

She was clearly qualified so the caption definitely didn’t match. 😆
