So what was the "CHILLING DISCOVERY"?

I think Mercury is an ideal candidate for mining purposes. On the back side from the Sun of course! And perhaps as a platform to have a mass driver to launch thousands of impactors into Venus to convert it's atmosphere into something more tolerable to humanity. Something like that would be something to consider for the Moon as well. A mass driver to launch materials onto Mar's surface to terraform it slowly into an Oxygen atmosphere supporting lichens and converting it into something more tolerable to humanity as well.

I would think that mercury had no moons because it's so close to the Sun and the Sun's gravity pulled them in. And because how dense Mercury is is probably just enough not succumb to the Sun's gravity.. and as far as life why not just a different type of Life maybe it's under the crust and comes out just at the right time between day and night where there's no real extremes. I'm no scientist and I don't know a lot about this stuff but that's just what I thought
