Archaeologists from all around the world must come and excavate the Pakistan side of Indus valley civilization, because it predates Greek and Mesopotamian civilization, only 10% of it have been excavated so far and we are missing 90% of human civilization early history, we need to research it as thoroughly as Egyptian and Greek civilization. Indus valley civilization is the place from where the history of India Starts.

While afghanistan is mentioned as grave of empires, India has been a cradle for civilization, The Harappans might have moved inland into India into much more fertile planes of India. They might have faced droughts and attacks which might have driven them inland into India, Mainly due to the fact the Indus vally is bordered by harsh desert. By crossing the desert into fertile plains they might have developed into newer kingdoms inside India, After all we need to look at it from anthropogenic evolution, People have always moved towards water and flat lands that support agriculture. Without water and agriculture Civilizations can not flurish or survive.

U can still find Harappan age scripts in Southern part of India, mainly in Tamilnadu.... This is not a coincidence... But a fact that, current Tamils are someway related to Harappan civilization 👍

Harrapans were a urban culture. The Aryans came after them and ironically had rural dominated culture.

If the script of the Harappan language could be deciphered, many things would have been clear . Therefore, it is the most urgent task of the scholars . The scholars who had discovered it as 'boustrophedon ', had to decipher it . Considering the pictures of the scripts of the ancient times, the Indus valley script is very distinct - still it has baffled the scholars .If, as is expressed by many, the Indus valley people had settled down at different places of mainland India, they would have lived a high standard city life ; but no such big, modern cities were constructed by the people who are supposed to be the scions of the Indus valley people ; thus, the great Indus Valley Civilization remains a big mystery .( thoughts only, not based on any research )

The Harappan Civilisation is a Munda tribe Civilisation. Famed Harvard Professor Michael Witzel has proved this in his works. This demolishes the claim of Aryans as being the original people of India and firmly puts the Adivasis as the First Citizens of India.

It's not vanished lmao the civilization fell apart due to climate change so the population dispersed deeper into India. They still kept various cultural traits and even vocab which we can decipher via clues in the later vedic age texts and archeology (continuations), the indoiranians fused with them into the Indian people.

It didn't vanish it just evolved to Indian culture and people today. Genetics proves indian people are descendants of the IVC

I personally think they need to explore the issue of bubonic plague and how that might have affected this civilization….

Yet another attempt by BBC to separate Harappan civilization from the oldest continuous civilization in the world, ie Indian civilization. It didn't vanish, yes, it might have migrated to greener pastures.

Harappa Museum is also a must visit. I have never been there but i've attended a Harrapan exhibition in Lahore Museum a while ago. It was an amazing experience. Learnt a lot. Mighty Indus river's banks have a lot of secrets which are still hidden to this day.
