20 minutes of documentary, and no mention of aliens. This isn't what the History Channel taught me.

It's fascinating that the difference between early indus and late Indus is longer than the difference between time of jesus and modern day

As a Pakistani Hindu, seeing their pools, fire altars, Pashupati Seal, yogi terracottas, sculpture with tilak, that they used turmeric and had similar dishes…its wild. Theres much more to ancient history we dont know.

The Indus Valley place names are relatively recent. ‘Mohenjo Daro” was a local name from much later local inhabitants. The name Mohenjo Daro translates into “Ghost Town” or “City of the Dead”.

I always like to see content not often covered by traditional American or other Western sources. Thank you for your hard work!

My ancestral home is 45 mins drive from Harappa site. Sometimes I wonder there might still be numerous smaller Indus Valley settlements buried in the periphery including my hometown. This was a very good video. Thank you.

This was a good introduction to Indus valley civilization and you covered it well, would also love for you to look at the post Indus valley indo gangetic tribes leading to the mahajanapadas, it's genuinely fascinating history that most aren't aware.

Can you guys make a video on the Mahajanapadas, aka the first large cities that emerged in the northern part of the subcontinent after the fall of the Indus Valley civilization.

I really appreciate your citation list. It makes it much easier to trust the information in the videos as credible and also to read more about the subject

The Indus River often gets short-shrift after Mesopotamia and the Nile civilization. It's good to see K&G working to undo some of that.

I visited these sites when I was working in Pakistan - it seems we cannot read what little they left in writing (clay) which makes the Indus Valley Civilization very difficult to understand.

Make videos on Indian Empires like Maurya, Gupta, Maratha, Cholas, Pratiharas, Rashtrakutas, Chalukyas, Vardhanas, Palas, Sikhs, Vijaynagara. There are many other too but these are the Great ones.

isnt it called the pasupathi seal? Pasupathi is an avatar of Shiva. Plus he's doing a high level yoga move which shiva is also known for as he is called the "Adiyogi" meaning ultimate yoga practitioner. The assosiation to cows and bulls also ties it to Shiva as his "Vahana"(vehicle) is a bull/cow

As the south asia is gradually getting more significant on global level. Its culture, stature, and history will also get prominent and known to all. Thanks for making an informative, unbiased, and interesting video. Love from Lahore-Punjab, Pakistan.
