By using the IShares US Index Fund, though there's no dividend withholding tax there is also no dividend

Why not use something with a physical replicate and get a dividend instead? extra yield? 😅

funny that ytd i bought 25 units for SPYL in IBKR tiered. I got charged $4.50 for commission. Am I missing something ?

If you are properly prepared and have the necessary knowledge, every crisis/crash/inflation or recession offers equal market opportunities. I've seen people amass up to 800k during crisis and even do it with ease in a terrible economy. No doubt someone has become enormously rich as a result of the crisis.
