As a newbie that wants to invest, you must have these three things in mind
1. Have a long term mindset.
2. Be willing to take risk.
3. Be careful on money usage, if you're not spending to earn back, then stop spending.
4. Never claim to know - Ask questions and it's best you work with a financial advisor.

Great Video,
VTI guy myself… I would love to hear a VOO vs VTI debate (Long-Term 35 years). Although maybe the difference isn’t that big ultimately.

Very helpful video. I'm not sure as a European (Italian) is it possible to use the same platform and ETF you recommended? Are the taxes attributed in Italy than?

Hey Ryan, I am asking out of ignorance regarding investing. Are you suggesting one will benefit from investing consistently (DCA) in the S&P 500 with any brokerage for the next 10, 20-plus years? Ex: I will contribute $500 monthly to VOO every month for the next 20 years or make different investments monthly? I am trying to build a suitable portfolio.

So how do these hedge funds managers defend why their funds underperform the SP500? Are there still benefits of hedge funds over index funds? Are these hedge funds unnecessarily over diversified beyond the point of diminishing returns? Are these funds less volatile in the short turn?

Whilst socio economic factors should not be a reason for not investing, would you factor this in when deciding what amount to invest? heightened tensions in the middle east and, China taiwan saga etc ??

Is it a good idea to buy VOO once every month..like 500dollars a month… instead of investing bunch of money at once ?

If I purchase voo through my robinhood roth ira, I can't invest more than 7k for the calendar year. Is that correct?
