Oh this fixed my problem! I was having the smallest of leaks into the overflow tube. Adjusted the float and this fixed it! Thank you!!

Bro I love u!! I watched many videos and everyone says to turn the screw counter clockwise to take the water level down. I have listen to them but it didn't help. u the first one to say different, clockwide=water down!!! Thanks a lot bro u fixed my leak!! : )

My toilet started acting up out of the blue and I noticed the holding tank water level was very high and leaking into the overflow pipe. I have turned every screw every which way and nothing is working. I'm ready to throw this piece of shit out the window I am so frustrated. It was just fine and then boom, running non stop

As helpful as your video was, my issue turned out to be the screw to adjust the ball was at fault. So far i didnt see any video covering this aspect but here what learn.
My adjustment screw looked like there was alot to be able to screw in but couldnt, what i end up doing was removing the screw completely (luckily nothing gets disassemble if you do) then push and hold the floating ball downwards with one hand and screw the adjustment screw in. The screw should be able to go all the way in and now the ball can be properly adjusted with the adjustment screw.

Not matter the adjustment, my water always fill to the overflow tube. When I try to lower the water level, it just fills very slowly, and still goes above the floater to the overflow tube. Any idea what causes this?

I should have consulted YouTube University first. I tried unscrewing the ball out first then the metal screw on the fill valve. I'm not that sure what the metal screw does, maybe controls the rate of refill? I had the smallest leak and measured one day. About 26 gallons a day.

I think I broke the plastic adjustment screw. It was very, very hard to move. I used a screwdriver, and now it doesn't seem to make any difference where I wind the screw, it doesn't change the water level in the tank.
