Adjust water level with 300 series fill valve

Removing locking clip and adjusting float cup of the 300 series fill valve.

Thank you it worked! But I put the clip back in after I adjusted it though because it felt loose. And to anyone wondering the lower it is the lower the water level will be.

It's still running even after I removed the clip and adjusted it to proper water level. Now what do I do to stop it from constantly running?

Greetings, What if adjusting the water level is not the issue, mbut that after flushing, the black box-like part does not pivot back in place, thus then allowing toilet to refill on the 300a? Assembly in question only installed with new toilet replacement, for about 2 months.

Mine sticks and won't go all the way toward the rod. (I don't know the actual name) so in order to get the tank to fill I have to push the thing you slid up and down, down toward the rod to get the tank to fill. Sorry I don't know the names I'm use to the balllock I believe it's called. Any suggestions on how to fix this issue?

I didn't replace the clip and now the float box slides up and down and has fallen to the bottom and won't stay up and now I have a shallow water level and it doesn't flush strong enough !! what can I do ?

My 300 has been giving me problems. Sometimes when I flush the toilet so water doesn’t come back in. If I push down lightly on the very top of my Flush master 300 it starts to fill.

This video is helpful and i can adjust it down but water keeps on running, what needs to be done in this case?
Just fyi, if i just push the rod down, running water stops and it starts again next time i flush.

Clip broke and the adjustment tab won't hold the fill level i want. The float falls all the way to the bottom adjustment. Kohler let me down AGAIN! Thanks for the info though.
