I have been an extreme minimalist for 19 years (I’m 37). My mom is mentally ill and a hoarder. Home was difficult. Even though I don’t need help declutterring, videos like this help me heal my relationship with stuff. I really struggle making decisions. For example, I’ve had the perfect new fry pan picked out for 2 years but haven’t purchased it because I’m so afraid it’s the wrong choice. Lockdown taught me to have a separate comfort-oriented wardrobe for lounging around the house, and change when I have to step outside. It adds extra pieces but makes the capsule wardrobe last longer overall.

This year i got rid off my later or in case clothes, i got rid of anything i dont truuuuly like in my closet and now i have all 4 seasons in my wardrobe. Im going to keep it like this, but may put winter stuff on the bottom of my pants, sweaters and jackets in one part, shorts and tee`s in the other. I may change it if i go into another space but for now its ok. Im not bringing in anytyhing new until im down to 50, then i will switch them when needed. Feels great.

Here in the philippines, we could not limit our wardrobe.because it is a tropical country and we can’t resist changing our clothes from time to time because of the heat .we tend to sweat more.but i do love to have a capsule wardrobe though i cant do that now especially that i am working full time in the school.❤
