How to import STEP into Sketchup ( STEP to SKP import)

In this video, you will see a simple a easy way to convert load a step file in sketchup.
Nativelly sketchup is not able to import STEP file.

The tips is to open STEPon freecad, export in DAE or collada, import in sketchup then modify it.

you can also use fusion 360 for same conversion and export in skp directly

why mine when i import the dae file into sketchup it stuck at 50%

Right but at the moment I wrote this topic, this functionality were only on the paid version of fusion, not on free version. ( If I remember)
