I love that teaching her sorry is really about teaching accountability and right and wrong, even if you can't measure her sincerity. Taking accountability is an amazing skill set.

I am autistic and I was nonverbal for a long time and I remember how I heard other people voices and the sounds that they are making. I never heard their words to be "words" It's hard to explain it, so seeing Abby respond to you in sign language that quickly to what you said is amazing achievement and she may not know fully on what you are telling her but she understands the gif of some words I think. That just so amazing she is able to express more or her wants more now as quickly. Well done her and her family 💗💕

You're such a genuine dad. What love you have for your family, for Abbey. All kids deserve a parent like you

Mother of 2 boys on the Spectrum, when they were diagnose our doctor told us that they would be non verbal, that there were early prevention that they could do, so we began the process of getting the into a program. However after the oldest at age 3 want really getting anywhere it was mostly him crying at everything the therapist did. So I researched alternatives, found a Cannabis Community and our journey began, we started dosing the oldest with 1 dropper of CBD, after receiving his marijuana cannabis card we began dosing with 1:1 CBD/CBD, I can say that I saw the change within a couple of months he started to focus more, we also beam to dose the younger one who was 18 months at the time but saw all the sigh of his brother, updater they are now 7 and 5 they both express their need very well, and that nonsense of the eve not talking, well they haven’t stopped, we love it ❤

I'd bet she understands more than most anyone will ever really know. My oldest has autism and CP. He's a wheelchair user and nonverbal. He understands so much more than even I can comprehend.

I don’t know why but this is the first of your videos that has shown up on my feed for a long time even though I’m subscribed. It was great seeing you again.

My son’s 7 and he is autistic he says sorry so much! To the point he says it even when he has nothing to be sorry for. He will keep saying it over and over until we say it’s ok it’s finished now. Sometimes even then he doesn’t stop.

I have autism and I said sorry instead of thank you quite often as a kid when someone said 'what do you say?' because the tone of their voice when saying it sounded like I was in trouble to me 😅

She's lucky to have a nice NT dad who is involved. Whether she has the capacity to actually appreciate him doesn't matter. He knows his worth even though she can't understand.😮

What you did was a “ oopsie “ my nonverbal son refuses to say sorry he will sign it or say “oopsie” 🙃 he’s only 5. I love this channel it always reminds me to just slow down and live in the moment. The hard work pays off in the end❤
