This was a very good show. It was brutally honest and very informative. Mr. Emil Kalinowski was an excellent guest. This was the first time for me in listening to Mr. Kalinowski. I totally agreed with everything he said about being in a depression. I wish more economists were as honest as him. As Americans, we have the right to know that we are in a depression and our economic system is totally broken and unrepairable. And of course, you can't have a great guest without a great host. Keep up the good work, Jack!

A great explanation from Emil and great devil's advocate arguments from Jack.

When Jack mentioned that we have crazy unicorn startups that get tons of funding easily as an argument against us being in a silent depression, I actually think it's an argument for the silent depression. When people can't rely on reasonable returns from healthy economic growth, they look towards companies (read: startups) with way more volatility in exchange for much better potential returns. This is investors trying to keep up by taking big risks instead of taking the hit from worse growth.

Jack. I am listening to this interview with Emil for the first time. Fourteen minutes in and it is already turning into one of your best interviews. Insightful. Honest. Grounded.

Mr Kalinowski has a tremendous mind and perspective. The silent depression is something I've long suspected. But Mr Kalinowski takes the cobwebs of my thoughts and breathes life into it. His take on the Euro Dollar system and the loss of trust between financial institutions is the reason I watch Blockworks.

Emil is the bomb! Thought provoking intelligent presentation wrapped in just the right touch of humor. Emil presents as a class act packaged together with integrity and the obvious expansive well researched knowledge of the subject matter. Silent depression indeed. Thankyou to the host for featuring Emil, greatly appreciated.

This was great, I like Emil, the questions were brilliant, intelligence deserving of testing.

Conveying perspective is an art, not a science, great work to both.

When the host said "Well, wouldn't it be the same as FED shaping outcomes, if free participants create their own futures?" (paraphrased)

Pure gold in terms of a perspective, exploring all avenues.

Great work gents 👍

I love Emil’s honesty and perspective on the macro environment. It’s interesting watching jack converse with someone who is more contrarian than most during this time, always good to see an unconventional view that holds a lot of merit, kudos Emil and jack

Excellent content gentlemen. Emil did a fantastic job of explaining his silent depression theory and Jack’s contrarian questioning helped to keep a balanced perspective.

Real people commenting in here:please help do your part to report the rampant bots posting their "invest with Miss Cleo" or whatever dumb name they choose in their spam script nonsense. Getting out of control and YouTube is always behind addressing these things

Emil happily reminds us of those sunny days before the lockdown' s when men of style and good taste wore ( dare I say} jackets and ties ! Bravo Emil, we feel much better in spirits for your efforts.

How can anyone possibly control any complex dynamic system?

Emil is absolutely right for the vast majority of Americans, people have gotten tich off the backs of low wages and never look back. Uplift everyone with truly equal education opportunities, value children with excellent childcare and support/value the work people do. Look around at the depression, hate, discontent. It isn’t from not having the newest iPhone, it’s from not being valued and successfully able to pursue a satisfying life. Sure, there are people who need a little help and we’ve largely created that. Every single person contributes to the moment we are in so it behooves everyone to open their eyes.
