There is one really important thing missing. Warm up your body. Run a little bit, do jumping jacks or something similar.
If you have never done it before prepare yourself by changing the shower temperature between hot to cold and back and then to cold again. After doing this for a few weeks your body will be much better prepared for ice baths. An alternative to those showers that I really like is simply by not to stop go swimming during the year. With a former job I was lucky. I could go there by bike and passed a lake on my way to work. I went swimming for 5 till 10 minutes every day before cycling the last 2 kilometers to work. I started doing this in summer and just never stopped doing it till December.
