I have watched her since her days on Little House and she was, and will always be one of my favorite actresses, I have myself been battling renal cell carcinoma and it has been her strength to get me through each day. Her podcast has been what has helped me so much as this is a very lonely, and depressing battle and the strength this beautiful woman had will live on in her work, and especially in the true fighter she was. I do not know where my life is going to take me, but I know I'm better for having Shan as someone to look up to.. Listening to Shannen speak, at such a young age and be so articulate, intelligent and know what kind of person she is, that’s really admirable. She knew at a young age how much she wanted to act.

Shannen may have had a bad rep, but the majority of it was BS and the media painting her that way. Even now, she was close again with her 90210 cast mates.

She lived two very different purposes in her life. The awareness and transparency around her diagnosis, she helped a lot of people. Her notoriety and talent gave her a career in the 90s that kickstarted teen dramas.

She lived a hell of a life. She’s gonna be missed, big time. This woman could act, she should have been given more opportunities, but being a famous woman in the 90s also came with a lot of personal attacks and rumours. However, Shannen was always honest about the person she was and never tried to be anything else.

This is such shocking news! From the moment I started watching "Beverly Hills 90210", I was fascinated and Brenda Walsh became my favorite character. Shannen was a terrific actress with a pure talent and a strong personality. For me, she was the heart of the show and I loved her performance. She was unique. Beautiful Shannen: you have been a true warrior through all these years and such an inspiration for lots of people.
