Dr. Phil discusses the highly debated topic of reparations. The HB 40 bill was passed in Congress last year, which establishes the Commission to Study and Develop Reparation Proposals for African Americans. Many feel this isn’t enough and insist there must be financial reparations given. Some cities, such as San Francisco, propose giving up to $5 million to some black Americans who qualify. Should this happen? Patrice E. Jones, a descendant of both a slave and slave owner, weighs in on the reparations debate, along with Civil Rights Activist Bob Woodson, and Professor William Darity, who outlined his plan for reparations in his book, “From Here to Equality: Reparations for Black Americans in the Twenty-First Century.” Also on the panel are political writer Joshua Ferguson and anti-racist educator Ashani Mfuko. I think we need to go back to where slavery began and that was in Africa. The Dahomey king captured and sold Africans to not only Europeans but also all along the Caribbean islands.

The first problem comes when someone is almost completely white but they have one known slave in their ancestors and a black as black guy has no slaves in his descendants! That would be a great way to end this craziness once and for all! We have mixed so much already there has to be plenty of people who have both slaves and slave owners in their ancestry!

There is a very dark and cruel history concerning the disabled community as well but, that's not even in the history books but, it's very real, too. Things really happened, and still happening to ppl in the disabled community, including discrimination, etc.. but, it doesn't get talked about, which is really messed up, wrong. And the difference is disabled ppl are actually really helpless, and needing help, and many can't even work for their needs.

Reparations is actual proven victims being compensated by their actual violators.

If there was reparations people would have to actually be able to explain exactly how they are currently being affected by what specifically happened however long ago by a specific person and then whoever did that would have to be the one that's paying the money and that would only count if they're rich and the entire thing is just completely stupid and doesn't make any sense whatsoever.
