Ford electronic Park Brake , Pad Rotor , Fusion 2014. Putting a Ford into brake service mode. Before doing rear brake pads on ford car with electronic parking brake , you want to put Ford in service mode. On Ford Once in brake service mode you can just push rear brake caliper in like normal. I show how I change rear brake pads and rear brake rotors on a 2014 Ford Fusion with Electronic Park Brake. Need to put ford in service mode to do rear brake pads and rotors. If not in service mode you can do damage to the brake caliper. The rear brake caliper on a ford fusion , has a electric motor for the Electric park brake. Ford Fusion.

I never serviced one of them but its nice Ford makes it easy and you didn't need to use a scan tool.

So I didn't know you had to have the calipers and brakes installed before putting into service mode, put it in service mode with the caliper off and now the piston is fully extended, how do I get it back in?
