Found the answer to my sync issues within one of the comments as the slide bar didn't do anything. Switching the audio to PCM was an instant fix as long as the slide bar is synced correctly.

Touching on what you said about changing surround sound options, i was having audio sync issues, as well as audio rapidly cutting in and out. I changed it to PCM, and that solved all the issues

the audio fix feature in a lot of the kodi addons is great. just go to the audio settings in the addon and move the slider. haven't used the firestick audio sync feature though. great work mate, keep the videos coming. lots of info cheers

Great info. I will do the changes that you mentioned. I didn't know about the sync one, so I will check that out. I have had a few out of sync cos I play the audio through a sound bar . I have just put it down to where I get the stream from so would try 6 or 7 different streams till I got one that was in sync .🤣🤣

Works great but I can't even watch a movie without it going out of sync again. Any ideas? This is ONLY with the firestick and my vizio sound bar. Soundbar works great with all other TVs and the firestick would never go out of sync minus the Soundbar. Thoughts?

Interesting, I don't have majority of the audio options. Just the Dolby digital output and navigation sounds. My Netflix is the only app on the FireTv Stick that doesn't play audio when you try to watch the movie. Anyone got an idea? I do have an older TV with 1 HDMI and it's a Toshiba. Thank you to whom ever can help out.

I have this problem with specific 3rd party apps for fire stick tv 4K, do these apps not work for older firestick, I have the new one in my room and it works fine, but the one in the living room video plays but the sound is muted after 5 secs. Any solutions?

Hey fella, greats vids, really enjoy the channel. Quick question....! Recently upgraded to the firecube 3rd gen. It now has a HDMI in port added to it. When I connected my skyq box to it, I get pictures but no audio..! Any ideas..? Thanks in advance..!

Had the audio out of sync issue and tried the audio sync option on my fire tv cube. Didn't like it. Ended up going in and out of the audio setttings just to check if it worked and mostly did not which was annoying. In the end i used the audio sync option on my LG tv albeit the newer Qned version and just using tv speakers which worked a treat. My previous LG 4k version would not sync up at all though.

Off topic but, will you give advice on updating some of the apps? Is there another recommendation to use instead of unlinked?
