This is what I’ve always said, you can disagree with Shapiro without calling him an idiot, he’s clearly not an idiot (so many people do that) clearly very smart, that doesn’t make him right all the time. People confuse being right 100% of the time with being smart

I've been watching Alex for around a decade, it's been amazing watching him and so many other thinkers in the philosophical part of YouTube finally meet and have such beneficial discussions while the world feels like it's screaming. Keep being the voice of reason in the storm :)

I'm a Christian, but of all the YouTubers out there Alex inspires me the most on how to speak (to people). The balance in calm and passionate, the amount of respect to his opponents, he is eager to learn but he is also ferm in what he believes at the moment.... I hope one day I can match his level. Life goals!

Debating is a sport. Being an effective debater is all about developing the necessary skills and scoring points, not about contributing to a sincere search for truth. Some of the deepest thinkers are poor debaters, and some effective debaters have remarkably shallow intellects.

I dont agree with Ben because I lean more left but he is no doubt a smart dude. I also think he gets taken out of context like most other public figures that speak about politics

He uses the "Gish Gallup" very effectively. It;s hard to debate someone who just keeps throwing out more questions and assertions without ever giving you a chance to respond. That makes him a very effective debater for those who are unconcerned with truth or a fair debate, but those of us who are a little more analytical and fair minded, it's obvious he is just hiding his weakness behind a verbal barrage.

What is impressive to me is that on his own show, he can just go nonstop for 30+ minutes. Even the great Rush Limbaugh had an earpiece in his ear and had at least one person helping him or giving him talking points to bounce against. Shapiro appears to be doing it all truly solo.
