Definitely a reassurance. Thank you. I know that a minimum a 5 years is required. But honestly it's taking a toll on me psychologically. A long road ahead. Anything worth having takes commitment. I try to keep this present at all times but sometimes weakness creeps in.

Amazing video. When I started bodybuilding, I knew I had to give lots of: 1.Effort 2.Commitment 3.Money and of course 4.Patience lots and lots of patience. So in other words NEVER GIVE UP MATES!

Been scouting around looking for this particular information. This is the most honest info on this topic so far.. for some reason most youtubers shy away from this truth...

Wow this was the video I needed to see. Sometimes you want to give up because results can be slow. The message, keep pushing!

Mark, I just want to say thank you for being cut and dry with your opinion on this subject, I've been working out for a while, though I feel the difference in my body a muscle, I lack on a visual of it, and it's very discouraging . But this video made me open my eyes a little more on how long it's going to take, and for me not to give up. Clear my head and keep my eye's on the prize, thanks again.

So true. at the age of 39 I told myself I would make the time and commitment to workout with decent consistency for five years with the goal of having a solid decent physique by the summer of my 44th year. I don't know where I will be by then but by setting the goal I am changing and improving and I do I no I will have a better physique then I have today and the long term mindset has been serving me well. In my head I call it "project 44" and I have a sign in my home gym with this on it to remind me to stay the course. Its a long term game and Mark knows this and has clearly put in the work to make it happen.

This is exactly I was looking for, I'm training since 8 months now, I've done a lot of progress, from 130lbs to 176lbs but I still don't have a wide back, full pecs( as in full clearly visible upper chest and lower chest) and clearly visible lower abs and broad shoulders. I was wondering how much time does it take naturally to have a good physique. Thank you for this video. Subscribed.

Yeah, he's pretty much right! I'm now in year #2 and I'm already seeing the sculpture of an ADONIS physique when I look in the mirror... This is ONLY possible because of consistency and effort, period!

It's also true that once you understand how to train and once you get the proper technique (your videos are gold, hidden gems of efficient body building training) it doesn't take that much to get that beach body. I'm afraid many people get confused about the rule of genetics and after a minimal effort and minimal results because of lack of knowledge, they think they suck and their genetic is bad, so chances are some of them will juice. Training for competing requires way more effort and time but I'm pretty sure that mostly everyone can get that Zyzz physique in a relatively short time, way less than 5 years. Thank you for your videos Mark ;)

I like watching your channel.an I got a question for you? you talk about that you have messed up shoulder problems. Well I do too now after my motorcycle accident in 2017. I was a avid gym guy it was my second home. But after my accident I've had shoulder problems like frozen shoulder. my questions is what can I do for my traps. the right side is the problem with the shoulder an I absolutely cant do a shrug with the right. now an my right side is very weak too so trying to workout is quite a pain. because my left, i havent lost size an strength an it's my dominant side too.any help would be great thank you.
