I have a 2009 Highlander Limited. I read a review once describing it as "A Sofa On Wheels". I have to agree. It's all about comfort, and the security of knowing you're going to get to where you're going, and not end up on the side of the road. For me, driving it is a way to relieve stress.

For me bird eye view camera is essential for city living with parking challenges.

Highlander is probably the best option for families looking to raise 2-3 kids from birth to age 10-13. They reliable af!

Great review. Those new updates are welcomed but the lack of bench seats on a family suv is puzzling. Also, in Ontario the wait is 2 yrs for the Highlander hybrids

I like when Zach is honest about not caring about certain amenities they put on higher trim levels to charge you more. Sometimes basic is better, and cheaper.

You two do so well and provide such a thorough amount of information. Thank you!

Tried buying a 22 this month - 20 month wait! Kia wouldn’t take an order for the 2023 Telluride due to backlog. With three kids the lack of bench seat on higher trims is hugely frustrating.
Great review as always 👍🏻

Man do I ever wish I could buy one of these! I sold my model 3 Tesla back in July and had a RAV4 lined up to buy (it was a co workers who has 8k, I was paying him a profit) but he ended up keeping it. This has me searching high and low trying to find another. To anyone who can get one, congrats! These are amazing vehicles.

No matter what your thoughts are you can't deny the quality and resale value of Toyota over KIA or Hyundai. I really enjoyed the banter between you two on the review!!

The highlander is the only suv in this segment that I’d go for. The 3rd row is what it is. These aren’t things I’d use often and many don’t. And if you do buy a minivan.

2021 HH Platinum awd owner with 55000+ miles on it. I drive it in sport mode aggressively and consistentlyb get low 30s MPG mostly highway driving in the warmer months and high 20 in the colder months. Traded in our 2022 HH Limited awd with 150, 000 miles. Only thing replaced in the 2013 was a driver side power lock actuator. Also I was t-boned by a silverado and these Highlanders are safe and built like tanks. Plus they have good resale value and of course are tried and true reliable.

Highlander has always been an excellent SUV. As good as it is, the highly anticipated "Grand" Highlander is what it has always been needed for additional 3rd row space compares to Telluride and Palisade. For now, its more of a rival to Sorento. In the meantime, get the awesome V6 before its gone for the 2.4T.

This HH is capable and handled being completely loaded down with bike rack and huge roof box on our family road trips. The engine was peppy and delivered great mileage. Easy to drive - how can you knock this?

I drove the non hybrid, very impressed with that car, i thought it was even better than last generation. I took it in 40 cm of snow with ease.

It’s honestly great for families that have 2 kids (3 kids max) we have 2 kids and usually have the 3rd row down but my 6 year old LOVES the 3rd row. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Love watching your reviews!

I’m in the US and we have a 2021 XLE AWD hybrid. We were Subaru owners for years and have owned many vehicles, but this is by far our favorite. We traded a Subaru Ascent that my wife loved(it had a couple issues), but we doubled our gas mileage, although sacrificed interior space. Averaging 33 mpg with my wife’s heavy foot. When I drive it, we easily get 37mpg. Best vehicle we have ever owned and we love it so much, we will be trading our RAV4 in once we can find a Sienna for more space and fuel efficiency.
