I just bought the 2024 highlander xle hybrid nightshade. Its a little loud but so was my chevy. I sit here and wonder why I didn't get a Toyota sooner. I love everything about it!

Yes the engine is so freaking loud! I HATE it 😖 don’t get this car it will trigger you if this is a turn off for you !

After watching your video, I am So Glad I bought my Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid, instead of a Highlander. The more realistic interior of the Santa Fe, with two rows of seats gives a cavern like rear hatch area without folding the second row down. The Engine and All wheel drive system have been flawless, and are quiet. The back seat leg room and reclining seats make it so comfortable for anyone who sits back there, plus it has all those tether points so two child seats fit with no problem.
Also the piece of mind that Toyota wouldn't give me with their short warranty, I have in the Hyundai with the 100K and 10 year warranty, that includes the Hybrid components, and Battery ! I also love the serviceability as I do my own, and NOT having a CVT Transaxial, still gives me 37 MPH in the summer heat. Love it !
