Success is not built on success. It's built on failure, It's built on fraustration. it's built on fear that you have to overcome. I pray that anyone who reads this will be successful in life

As a very experienced meal planner and bulk cooker, I suggest people make their meal plans with matching grocery lists, then save and reuse them. No need to reinvent the wheel every week or two (depending on how long out your meal plan goes.) Create multiple lists over time if you prefer more variety, just save them and get them in rotation. Before you go shopping, use your grocery list to check off what you already have on hand in your fridge and pantry. You can create seasonal lists if you want to shop seasonally for the best produce or other deals.

I used to have a TV and used the commercials for my “Speedy Gonzales” attacks. I’d jump up and race into the kitchen to clean up as much as I could, or tidy part of my desk, or put away clothes, etc. Got sooo much done! I haven’t had a TV in 20 years but still use the „Speedy” technique sometimes.😂

yeah if I got up every couple of hours and took a 10 mins walk, my employer would tell me to keep walking out the door and to a new job. Do you realize how blessed you are to have that freedom and so many others don't?

The reason most people fail resolutions is because they make ones that engender discontent. My resolutions have included such things as, nap more, drink champagne with breakfast on the weekends and eat more fried chicken this year. I have never failed to keep a New Years resolution.

Your channel deserves a trophy. The two minutes rule is very accurate because getting yourself to initiate the task is the hardest thing but if you just don't think about it and do it, the rest is easy. People like to stay in their comfort zone and be lazy and all that and motivation rarely helps. ❤️🧸

Here are my resolutions. I am 66 and live by myself.
1) Have an alarm set at 8 pm. Turn off all devices except perhaps music and tidy my place because I might die in my sleep and it would be embarrassing to leave a big mess; then, get ready for bed.
2) When horribly egregious thoughts and memories pop up, laugh at them and write them down. Then curse at them, pray over them, etc.
3) Do something creative every day, even if it’s just doodling.
4) Sing or hum whenever feasible.
5) Every time I concentrate on myself, I panic. So, screw that! I start thinking about others.
6) I have a monthly reading list (classics) and write a short summary of each book. It’s embarrassing how much I haven’t read at my advanced age!
7) Fast.

My main goal is to be as active as possible. Since watching your videos, I've started going to the gym. Thanks Gabe! All the best for 2023, hope you get soon 500k subscribers and your well deserved Tesla. Cheers!

Minimalist Habits, are what I am doing this New Year, and it is clearing my mind up with less clutter, and the spaces in place faster to clean in 10 minutes. Thank you for the encouragements, and awesome insight on the subject, and suggestions : )))) It has taken me long (years) to 'do' the decluttering

What I usually, do and this has worked for me for the past 8 or 9 years is treat new years resolutions as guidelines instead of mantras and make a physical and digital list. And look at the list at least once a week. I found my brain will subconsciously work towards the goals on the list without actively realizing it and eventually, the goals become habitual practice. For example, I have been working out actively since 21 years old now 33. Also, I have been actively on Duolingo and using other resources to learn languages which I started in the Fall of last year.

I'm a web developer. I work from home. My job is entirely on the computer, but I just can't sit for even an hour. I'm up taking breaks and letting my mind wander on the code I'm working on. I'm positive that it makes me more productive, plus it's healthier.

The most surprising thing in this video: you don’t have half a mil subscribers?!!! I never checked until now but I thought because of the quality of your videos and just by how much I’ve been enjoying them I thought you had more 😂 it’s only a matter of time then! Obviously by your view count- the ones that watch you (like myself) watch you almost every-time you make a new vid which is already an incredible achievement.

I’m not a minimalist…yet 😂. I’m 55 now and I feel like I’m drowning in STUFF. Over the last year I’ve been getting rid of a lot of my belongings, which feels just as good as the the excitement I felt when I bought the thing. I read about Swedish Death Cleaning so I’ve slowly been working toward that.

I just read the Karma Brown’s book “The 4% Fix” which is completely in line with the direction I’m headed. Basically, set aside 1 hour, first thing in the morning, to specifically work on a particular goal (for me it’s learning another language and prayer/devotional). This is how she carved out time to write 5 best-selling novels while working full time, raising a daughter, and being a wife.

I love your 2-minute rule. I also do this when there’s something I really want to buy. I walk around the store with it in my hand, thinking about whether or not it will add to my well-being. I usually put it back. The same online. I fill my cart then walk away from the computer/phone and do something else while thinking about what else I could do with that money. Then I clear my cart. 😂

I’m so glad I found your channel.

I'm 66 and what you have just encouraged people to think about is spot on. Small steps why not?! Easy to give a go when you feel feeling flat ain't shifting
