you cant really blame the film for the writing, unless they changed things from the original

What I disliked in this movie was not the acting or not even the changes from the original. it was the fast paste of everything. In the old movie with Ustinov, there were quiet times where the watcher could think, theorize and create hypothesis. Here it’s just dumb action and the reveal is not mind blowing just weird like : dude what are you talking about ?
We need to be detectives too

I got to the end of vanilla sky and nearly had a meltdown. I was so pissed that I even had access to it, let alone that anyone else liked it.
