What is the best movie you have seen that you will NEVER watch again?

The Passion of the Christ belongs in that “must watch” category, but I can only ever watch once a year. Sadistically and relentlessly violent, but emotionally draining and deeply powerful.

The Shining is very rewatchable imo. As a kid I watched it over and over. It's just so ambigious and mysterious, as always with Kubrick it's beautifully crafted. And Nicholson's performance is amazing and iconic.

I probably will never watch Oppenheimer again but it was a 10/10 movie

3. Titanic: it's a good movie but with the combination of lentgh and genre that it brings I really don't want to go back to it

2. The Batman: I love this movie, and I do want to re-watch it, but I'm not really sure if the mystery would have the same appeal a second time.

1. Sound of freedom: this was such a good movie but I don't know if I can give it another watch. If you've seen it you know exactly why

The Gift from 2015 with Jason Bateman. It just REALLY bothered me when I first watched it. I even said to my sister after I watched the movie, “that was a great movie! I’m never watching it ever again!”

Requiem for a Dream is one that comes to mind. It’s a fantastic movie, but it’s so heavy. I own it and I don’t really know why because I don’t think I’ll be able to ever watch it again.

For me Dead Poets Society is a fantastic movie that I might never watch again.

I rewatch football games 😂 (I’m a Patriots fan, a lot of good memories)

The sixth sense is highly rewatchable, it’s much more than it’s twist. It’s about watching the spirit of a person learning to move on.

For me - Requiem For a Dream, Blue Valentine, American History X, Boys Don’t Cry, The Whale, United 93, and Fruitvale Station

Hey Chris @FilmStocked ! Great video! I have a suggestion for a future video that could be really interesting: Top 10 Best Picture Winning Films? I think that could tap into all different kinds of movies

These are the exact types of really good movies that I only watch once. They may be great, but they aren’t fun movies. I think for a movie to be rewatchable, it needs to be fun. Another movie I’d add similar to the heavy theme of your list is Spotlight.

Disagree about The Sixth Sense, 100% rewatchable because of the characters and the acting, but that's about any movie with a twist. If you cant rewatch them it probably wasn't that good. Even though the Sixth Sense is great.

I LOVE A Beautiful Mind but for spoiler reasons I'll just say it hits close to home, as you can tell by my icon. Totally agree about The Sixth Sense (saw it and Gren Mile in the theater) and American History X. I've seen Green Mile a few times but if I'm able to skip through sections while viewing, i will. "Cuckoo's Nest" is literally next on my Watch list for tomorrow night! I NEED to watch Schindler's List.i need to be in the right frame of mind before I commit. It DEFINITELY is an important moment in history.

American History X is one of the best films of all time. And one that everyone on earth needs to watch at least once. Should be shown in schools, even though it's harsh and rough, should be shown in all schools, I believe it's that important
