What if you enter instead of your age and gender - female, 75 y/o. Will it give exactly the same results? If not - does it mean this machine relies more on calculations rather than actual scan? How does it compare to DEXA scanner?

if i start eat carbs, i gain fat and loose muscle as endomorph and i feel in training that i not building muscle up only playing with sugar(glycogen) if i cut carbs to minimum to start repair myself i have skin issues cause body doesnt have fuel....

My first body scan showed 34% body fat, 19 days later, my body fat went up to 38% body fat. I am so puzzled by this because since my first body scan I would run 5 miles a day, 6 days a week.

Could a 72 hour fast skew my results?

I've been doing InBody readings every Friday for the past 7 months. I saw an incremental increase in lean muscle mass during the first few months of hitting the gym 4 nights per week. These days, I'm struggling to improve lean muscle mass - I've hit a plateau.

I have a couple of questions:

1) Should I take a reading before or after a workout?

2) How accurate is the machine?
