How to Make Your New Year's Resolutions Successful

Getting in top physical shape is the no.1 New Year’s resolution this year. Thirty-seven percent of Americans make New Year’s resolutions. The sad fact is just 10% will keep their resolutions longer than three months. Saving money is also a popular New Year’s resolution. However, Wall Street Journal reporter Julia Carpenter says people should be realistic about setting financial goals.

My 2022 New Year’s resolution of fitness is still ongoing. I started doing 30 minute walks. Doing it 5 days a week was unsustainable, so I scaled it back to 3 times a week but made it more vigorous (minimum 128 steps per minute, at 6 kph or 3.728 mph, and I can’t talk from being breathless). It has become a part of my life for 2 years now.
This year, I’m adding in callisthenics and building some muscle.
