Not only is the Man's knowledge profound but he has charisma to boot. So Grateful for your Channel Mike. I hope you can get down here for the Presidents Cup!

Spot on. I found this out a few weeks ago.
Focusing on getting the shoulder socket to rotate is making it so much easier to get into a good position to come into impact.
The best move I’ve come across in 25 years of golf.

The best way that’s ever been explained in my book, knowledge is power, thanks Mike

In order for the right arm to rotate properly, you need to get the club on the outside during the backswing. Ok got it Mike! Thanks!

The inner ear balance thing is so interesting and makes so much sense

Brilliant Mike! Thank you for the always insightful explanations! To correct my “across the line” problem, I have worked on coming less inside, but now realize that my real problem is range of rotation in my right shoulder. Thank you for the help.

Fantastic explanation of why it is so easy and natural to lunge at the ball with right shoulder...I guess when people say 'stay down' they should be saying 'rotate around a constant spine angle ' and when you say keep your wrists and arms loose you are saying this in order to allow for arms to properly rotate in the shoulder sockets....

All 3 are very valid points. However, you forgot one…. A cupped left wrist will also send it across the line. Trust me. I struggle with this.

Excellent explanation! I think I'm the 3rd, but could be the 1st, or maybe a combo of all 3! :(

Mike, in your video with Ms. Ramos you placed two tees on both sides in reference to
your hands in your set-up. Then it seems you’re saying that at the top of swing pointing
at the back tee & at front one on follow thru. Understand about club head of being behind of hand
line, but should it be straight down at tee or be flattened a little (angle)?

This could be why I keep cutting the golf ball. I'm gonna try it when I go practice because I've tried most other things. I also have the tendency to shank once in a while so hopefully that will disappear

Hi Mike so what drills would help with this, in my instance I do take it inside to early and sometimes stand taller.
My mis is block to the right or hooking left of target.
I also noticed I have my feet set up for a draw 80% of the time with the shoulder pointing slightly left, so not aligning correctly.
Appreciate any help thanks

Combination of shoulder rotation problem and putting wrist twist in causes mine. Question is how to take it out. Once body has learned how to move it’s bloody hard to fix....🤔

Would you say across the line is a "bad thing" tho...I feel like I can really shallow it a lot...in fact, I can ONLY hit a draw if I do go across the line (I'm sure with training is be capable of learning to do it normally) but it's not my preferred shot shape...interestingly, if I'm on plane or even laid off I tend to fade it...youd think it would be the other way...in fact the reason I started going across the line to hit a draw was becuase I was slicing when i used to have a super laid off swing...golf makes no sense

I seem to go across the line with just my driver

It doesnt fix my cross the line 😭. I have tried hard. In the practice swing, no problem. But in the real shot, my hands always bend and the club aims to the right of the target.
