This has been my desire since my stroke. I have been steadily decluttering. There were so many items I had kept for so many years, pointlessly. Big chuckout! It's not always easy but I'm getting there. And now it is quite something seeing you saying the same thing. Thank you Elyse for another great video!

Thank you for believing in recovering from a stroke past the 1-year "deadline" that many in medical institutions swear by. Having a stroke is scary. I don't also need to live in fear that I'm not doig enough quickly enough to experience improvement multiple years out.

I have a stroke in 2018 and real recovery began only when I start playing games where I need to keep a lot of things in mind

Decluttering has become the primary focus for me post my stroke. Now things have turned weird. Can not bear anything that I am trying to declutter(maybe something physical in home, or may be some software malfunction in computer). If that anyways not getting fixed, i am loosing my mind. Specially what I can recall right away is facebook adds. Trying every bits to get things controlled, but you know how things work there. After the pandemic everyone now is a content creator. And the quality of their content everyone knows. This thing is also pissing me off. And since because of the stroke and subsequent physical disability, i am spending huge amount of time in home idle, i spend a heafty amount of time on social media. If things donot work well there, it becomes more problematic for me.

Prior to my stroke I was a long-distance hiker now my balance is so bad i can hardly walk 3 blocks without losing my balance and falling. I'm 71 years old and a year and a half ago i could walk 28 miles in the mtns. in a day. i can walk a little farther using hiking poles do you think i will ever be able to go hiking by myself again?

True indeed, queen. We've been trying to inspire my dad to get on board with decluttering, but he's stubborn. We've made a little headway. Shucks, I can do with a little minimalism in my life, too 🤣
