I am a SHIP counselor in Montana and cant teach my clients enough about the differences between the two plans. Having been in a almost deadly car wreck, in the hospital 7 months, I am the perfect one to teach about this difference. I am very grateful for all you have taught me on this and I always recommend that clients watch your videos to reinforce what I have already told them. Thanks!

I know of two recently retired men that are on Medicare and chose Advantage plans (both said "because they're free and I don't have to pay for them"). One needs cataract surgery and is waiting for approval for it from the insurance company and the other had a few issues that had to be dealt with and he also had to wait weeks before getting to see a specialist. I'll be eligible for Medicare next April and it'll be regular Medicare with a supplement plan for me.

A lot of seniors cannot afford that upfront cost. And it's getting more and more expensive every year a lot of people are jumping off the Med supp train just for that reason alone. There are people with money and can afford it and it's just a cost-of-living. I go by one size doesn't fit all.

This is a excellent video on choosing between Original Medicare and Medicare Advantage. But I almost skipped watching it because of the way it's named.

Its cause they give "free" stuff. So many fooled. Its leading to socialized medicine. Been billing for 35 years.

Pre-authorization is the main concern I have with Advantage plans. Price sounds right but is it??

I've had Kaiser for 40+ years and have great doctors so far but am concerned with what would happen if/when things go south in my health.
