On the surface, compassion benefits those it is aimed at. If we are compassionate to animals, the animals will benefit. But in reality, we are the first beneficiaries of our compassion for others. This is because allowing ourselves to feel and be guided by compassion generates inner peace and light-hearted joy. Let's be kind to all living beings, for their sake and ours.

I work around different animals. When we let the cows and goats out onto the field the first few minutes they just jump and run around very wild :) sometimes they chase each other right after being released into the field, which could be them playing catch, but I won't fully know. It looks like it, as the other animal stops and looks back when one is too far, they waits for them to catch ip to run again.

But especially with the cows it is soo cool to see, because you don't expect big compact animals like them to run and jump around like that.
