This variety of animals showing so much affection and love is really heartwarming. They dont speak our language but they feel and communicate in their own way. I just wish us humans would take better care of this planet, both for ourselves and for our animal companions. The reward is beyond money.

My two cats had to be fostered with a friend for about a month and a half. I was hospitalized for major surgery, then had to convalesce at home for a month afterward and couldn't take care of the cats for the duration. When they finally came home, after a moment of just staring at me thinking it over, both came running for love and kisses! I broke down in tears and both, one on each side, stayed with me even when I went to bed - something they'd never done before. It's been a few months now since surgery and they're still following me room-to-room to make sure I'm still around. Fills my heart with joy.

wife had a heart attack, got put in a home for rehab. after about a month, Baxter cat would hunt for her, an one day i hear the most mournful, broken hearted cries in the hallway. he came up to me dragging her robe belt, softly meowing. home staff said i could bring him for a visit. happy cat, happy wife. he then knew she wasn't home, but OK. i took him on weekends. he was a hit there, too!

My dog and I make people cry when we reunite after I've been away for a few weeks, on a trip for example. It was literally love at first sight when I got him at 9 weeks old.
Even after his first puppy cut we all cried when I came to get him from the groomer.
At one place, he was moping like Eeyore, and then he burst with joy crying and turning in circles on my chest! He ran back to one person who spoiled him rotten as if to say, "She's back!" after seeing me.
My special boy is 16 now and every day is a gift. He still has lots of love for his mumma and feline pal.

The longest time I've been away from my dog, is a day or two and he gets so excited to see me, he acts like a puppy, even though he's 9 years old.
