Jayne Buxton, born in the UK and having lived across Canada, the US, and the UK, holds an MBA from IMD Business School and a master’s degree in creative writing from Kingston University. She spent fifteen years as a management consultant specializing in business strategy and data analysis before making waves with her debut nonfiction work, "Ending the Mother War," in 1998. Root vegetables, grains, beans....food for slaves and during times of starvation. Throughout history, slaves were always fed cheap grains and beans, zero meat and eggs.

What drives me mad is that carbon emissions are the only environmental contributer counted - what about pesticide, herbicide, fertilizers, soil depletion, etc.. industrial farming (all kinds) are highly destructive

I admit to falling for the con around 8 years ago. I read the China Study, listened to Neil B etc and was convinced because it sounded good and I didn't verify their 'facts'. I thought I felt better for the first few months but I now know it was from eliminating seed oils combined with a placebo effect because I remember my increasing bowel issues, gas and bloating, arthritis, hair loss and brain fog etc. Fast forward to today and I'm now almost 5 years carnivore and absolutely thriving!

Thank you for this. I came from 14 yrs of plant based, and ended up carnivore. That initial feeling good on plant based, was from cutting out junk, I believe. Over the years I got worse and worse.
And now, slowly but surely, I am getting better.

Great conversation 👌 and I love that youre acknowledging the propaganda against meat. We need to be aware of it because they want to restrict our access

I bought into it in the 70s, my health declined so that I had to eat meat again in the mid 80s to stay out of the hospital.
Yet I STILL believed that saturated fat was bad and that red meat caused cancer. Talk about cognitive dissonance 😵‍💫

As for SDA saying the only way to Heaven is through eating plants……. Maybe they missed Genesis 9 where The Lord tells Noah from now on in ADDITION to the herbs and plants you are eating you will eat animals for food.

Also salvation is ONLY through Jesus period (John 14:6).

8:30 Yes, I also thought plant based was healthiest so when I stopped smoking and ate plants for 2 years, I was very surprised when ended up almost having surgery to fix chronic health problems.
Luckily I found carnivore late 2018 and now all of my health problems are gone with no doctors help and I still eat a carnivore diet :)

Just recovering from a bad case of food poisoning from little gem lettuce. Not the steak, but the lettuce. My daughter only ate steak she was fine. Her friends and I also ate the salad and we got stomach cramps, diarrhoea, cold sweats, really unwell for a day.

I know it makes women feel better that they can say well we're all different, the fact of the matter is, we're the same species and we have a correct diet and a plant based diet is not that. Being able to eat things without getting super sick or dying from it is, different than thriving.

Thank you both so much for your work!! I have YouTube channel on sustainability and plan to teach the FACT that plant-based is terrible for the environment. I don’t have a lot of time to work on my channel right now so have taken a step back from it but I’m working on it a LOT behind the scenes and will go full force once I retire in about 3 years. I’m sure I’ll post well before that as well but it will not be consistent weekly. We’ve GOT to get the message out and keep talking about it so people will become aware. Also, please look into the benefits of grass-fed ruminants on the ecological health of an ecosystem. It’s wonderful. Just think about it. Before human civilization got so large, we had herds of hooves animals roaming the planet in herds of thousands and millions! Their “farts” did not hurt the environment and neither did their roaming. It is actually beneficial. By comparison you have these massive soy, corn and wheat monocultures using GMOs and glyphosate destroying plant diversity and wildlife in their wake on a MASSIVE SCALE, way more than possible realize. I’m sure that if many of these plant-based people realized how many animals were killed during harvesting of their wheat, corn and soy, they’d think twice about promoting that. I hope Bill Gates gets a clue about this soon. By the way, my degrees are in Marine Biology and Wildlife and Fisheries Sciences.

Just because someone failed to do the plant based diet the right way, there's no need to trash it. For someone who's been whole food plant based for almost a decade, my only regret that I haven't started it earlier.
