Was Aemond's Dark Vision Real? The Curse of Helaena | House of the Dragon

Was the Aemond and Helaena scene real or a vision? Does this scene connect to Daenerys Targaryen? One of the most shocking scenes in the fifth episode of House of the Dragon was when Aemond Targaryen, after becoming the king regent, arrived at the Iron Throne. This moment, which he had waited for so long, was overshadowed by the comment of his sister, who questioned him if it had been worth it.

But what does Helaena mean by this? Could it be that she knows what really happened to her husband Aegon? Could it be that with her supernatural powers she has been able to see what really happened? The storm that night and helena asking aemond was worth it its also a reminder of the night he killed luke and officially became the OG king slayer now he tried to kill his own brother and killed another queen and another dragon i believe thats why helena asked him was it worth it🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

Nah, I think it wasn't just a vision. I'm firmly convinced Helaena simply knows the truth about what happened during the battle of Rook's Rest. Wish we could see more interactions between Aemond and Helaena, they're so interesting characters. Plus, it would be nice if those two siblings, interacted more! I've never been a fan of the theory about Aemond romantically loving Helaena, but right now, I wish it was true. Had his theory turned out to be true, at least wouldn't have seen that creepy ass post-coital scene with Aemond and the woman who was paid to SA him when he was 13...

The statue of Viserys behind Aemond there? THAT is the actual statue...while in Daemon's visions of the throne room, Viserys's statue isn't in that spot and doesn't look like that.

Idt its love as much as entitlement, hes not in love but "damnit if anyones gonna marry my sister its gonna be me!". Same with daemon, yet hes realizing he needs his wife, as more of a counterweight than love

Well I think he is dreaming/having a vision. He has the same confused look on his face as Daemon did in his room in Harrenhall.
That look that says, something is off, i never had this before... what is going on? There must be a deeper meaning here.

It could be Aemond's mind playing tricks on him. guilt, fear or maybe the lack of it?
It might be his sister seeking him out in his dreams, seeing the obvious connection they have. She's is his sister and she is a dreamer.
Or it is Alys that calls to him. knowing he will show up eventually. She never met Aemond. So how does she know/find him?
well blood magic. She knows Daemon, and there certainly must be some kind of connection or bond between blood. that only (blood)magic users might understand.

That all said, the fact that Blood and Cheese went different as well. Helaena and Aegon having only two children.
The fact that Aemond is reagent now. Stating before that he would be more than honored to preform his duties. if they were put upon him instead of Aegon.
What if he is the father of Helaena's third child? The Hightowers, or atleast his mother maybe even encourages him to do so. Eventually Selling this child to the small folk as Aegon's heir.
Seeing the problematic lack of one since blood and cheese. Aegon will not be able to produce a new one in his current state.
This would so ironcally fit into the narrative that the show runners spun up till now.
Where Alicent is shaming Rhaenyra out in public for certain "behaviors". while doing it herself behind closed doors. And/or encourages her family to do so.
All while trying to dethrone the "B Queen of Dragonstone". her own lineage is not one lick better than the B Queen. Or maybe even worse.

Aaand, i think we all understand now what Aemond meant when he said he was sorry for Luke his death. He had no intentions to kill him.
No he only wanted to scare the C out of him.
The one he wanted dead was Aegon, for being the instigator of the bullying Aemond had to endure as a child.
But even after he and Vhagar (the biggest and most grumpy off all the dragons) undone Luke, Aegon still bullied him.
when Aemond got up and walked out of the brothel, he thought to himself. this is it... i'm done, i do not longer wish for my brothers death. I will cause it.

what I thought Halaena was talking about when she asked "Was it worth the price?" was SunFyre. Team Green is now down a dragon. It may not be dead but if it cant fly it isnt entirely useful.
