the fact they choosed oberyn to tell the story tells you how much he was found of Daemon targaryen himself, both characters are similar in a lot of ways both are second sons, warriors, fearless, cunning and wrathful, amazing !!!

1:48 came here after EP4, I like the little detail shown during the Battle of Rook's Rest was when dragon's blood had poured down on some of the green's soldiers were visibly burning/boiling them.

I like that the show manages to capture some details faithfully even if the story didn't go "exactly" as written in the books.

I can't stress enough how important Daemons sacrifice was. By neutralizing Aemond and Vhagar it allowed the black forces to operate freely and ended any threat of dragon attacks/offensive by the greens.

I hope the show sticks to showing daemons importance and love to his family. I hope the showrunners don't stray far from the books and have daemon survive as I truly believe it would be severely out of character for him to abandon his children and leave dark sister as it's such an important piece of his family.

I believe this is a fitting ending to a warrior character and I hope they stick to it.
