Well daemon is more Targaryen than any Targaryen alive at that moment. He is the son Alyssa and Baelon Targaryen brother and sister, and children of King Jaehaerys I and Queen Alysanne Targaryen. The blood purity is stronger in him and he does seem to have a very close bond to his dragon caraxes who belong to his uncle Aemon Targaryen before him. He has the sword of the first Targaryen queen consort Visenya Targaryen as he is the first prince consort of the history of the realm. We saw in Vermithor scene how Daemon was singing a lullaby moat probably sang to the dragon by his last rider king Jaehaerys. He will also be waking up anotjer dragon Silverwing which belong to his grandmother Queen Alysanne.

Daemon seem a true dragon.

And he is Daenaerys great 8x grandfather

Daemon is one of the best-written fictional characters of all time, and Matt Smith's performance is stunning. In just two episodes, he has managed to dominate every scene he's in. The character is nuanced, and Smith brings all the complexity of the character to each scene. On House of the Dragon,  Daemon is going to be the ultimate "gray" character in the initial season. His actions are dictated by his own whims and desires, yet there is a piece of him that is extremely soft and compassionate. Seeing these battling emotions on screen is what helps make Daemon Targaryen so great.
