2013 Honda Accord owner here. Had the same intermittent starting issues, until it would not start at all. Contacted AAA, after saying it was the starter, I brought it to the dealer to be diagnosed for a fee … it was the starter. The cost was a frustrating $900.00… If I wasn’t too stressed already, I would have driven to AutoZone for a starter($380-410) plus rebate if return the old starter, then PepBoys for installation($199)…. No starting issues so far, hope sharing my experience helps you guys.. Be blessed and have good days ahead!

My 2016 Honda Accord exl coupe will start one moment then if it’s to hit or cold won’t start at all just bought new alternator and had it on still not fixed my battery is 70% should I just get a new battery and I also have new starter just haven’t put it on yet ?

This might help me out. Having problems with my 2015 and we tried a starter first. That didn't work so mechanic thought new starter was bad so changed it out. Still having the same problems. So will need to look at the brake switch.

Hello there, I’m having the same issue on my 2017 Accord Touring, not sure if it’s the battery or the starter, thinking of replacing the battery, the car was sitting for like 6+ months anyway but if after replacing the battery the issue still happens then it’s for sure the starter, here’s the thing though, the car still starts after I give it a little boost, is that an indication that maybe it’s not the battery causing this?
