Great review! I've owned all four generations of Prius here in the United States and they've all been the most reliable and low cost cars to own. I've been a long time Prius-advocate and now own a 2016 Gen.IV I bought last August. I just now have a little over 3, 000 miles and have been averaging 60+US MPG. The new double-wishbone rear suspension is such a welcome upgrade! This Prius is definitely the best yet!

Having seen a few new model Prius cars on the road, it looks better in the metal than in pics. Certainly stands out in a crowded street. Great review Richard. Nice scenery too.

Rear headroom looks awful. Not exactly the tallest of chaps and your head was pressing against it when you sat up.

My friend drives 10, 000 miles per year and she has a Lifetime mpg of 246.7 mpg. I drive 20, 000 miles per year and I have a Lifetime mpg of 135 mpg. We drive the same type of car. I is faster than a Prius 0-60 mph by 2 seconds. So what is this car...The Chevy Volt. I paid $22, 195 after tax credits and rebates. The Lease option is very cheap at less than $200 / month. Test drive a Volt before you buy a Gas Hog Prius.
