I went to an auto show the other day and I got to admit. This car looks WAY better in person.

I'm pretty sure the reason for the ugly look is due to aerodynamics. Apparently the Prius has less drag coefficient than a formula 1 car. People don't buy a Prius to look cool anyways, they buy them to drive the hell out of and save $ on gas. When I bought my first Prius I felt like I was losing my manhood lol. You forget all about that when you go to the gas station and fill up for $20 and drive 500 miles. I know it lacks style but its just not one of those cars.

Nothing says advancement then seeing this car getting over 50MPG when my 1986 Chevy Sprint 5 spd. Got an average 54/64 CITY/HWY. $6 to fill it every OTHER week. $3 a week! And I drove everywhere with the 1.0 liter engine. Sure it was 30 years ago. Sure I was 23. But Sure we were capable of achieving great gas mileage and practicality cars back then. Some of these cars even had A/C.

my point about the toyota Prius c is about the technology that went into the design to create the lowest drag coefficient, and with its price range to make this car a very affordable car to drive, with fuel savings being its number one concern, whether or not you like its design that was made for sole purpose is everyone's choice, I have owned many cars during my years, some not so fuel effient, but as a consumer that lives from pay cheque to pay cheque, not only does this car save me a enormous amount money at the gas pumps, I find this car the most enjoyable car to drive each and every time in get behind the wheel. that is my fact, my opinion, my view, I say this as unbiased, no matter if I got ripped off on my trade in.

He says it gets "way more miles per gallon than the previous model" I read elsewhere that it's almost exactly the same. Which is accurate?

The thing that makes me angry is not because its ugly, but because you know, YOU JUST KNOW, with a little more tucking and repositioning of body lines, you know it CAN, it has the POTENTIAL to be good looking. Instead you get this 'for the sake of aerodynamics' piece of excuse. Its that person that tried too hard, put too much make up on and boom, you get a clown fish.
