2016 Toyota Prius *First Look* and World Premier Video Review

The Toyota Prius has always been known for getting great fuel economy and is really the car that jumpstarted the hybrid revolution. And now we get the fourth generation Prius which has received a thorough redesign inside and out. The first thing you notice is the profile of the car is more sedan-like for the 2016 model year. The car is longer, lower, and wider which opens up more passenger space. Gas mileage is expected to increase by 10%.

This new Prius looked just so weird at first especially in red paint. However, the silver one makes its design look somehow futuristic and positively aggressive. Guess what, this thing will sell millions. The design appears to give it great aerodynamics and great fuel efficiency. The flat is also almost totally flat and covered for better air flow. The back seem to give it a lot more space than any competitors as well.

Well, as far as I am concerned, I love the new design. The design of the third generation prius was holding me back from buying one. I already have an prius V as a family car. Now, I will get the fourth generation prius for my business, too. With the prius V, I got comfort (to a very good price), extremly good fuel economy and of course the best quality in the world. As a Prius owner, I can only recommend this car. I think most negative reviews come from people who never had the kind of prius experience I (and probably most prius owners) have had.

Maybe the premium models have different trim pieces and wheels and look better, but that base model is disgusting. I haven't been a fan of Lexus' new "style" from the start though. Shame to see it come to Toyota, too.

The 4th Generation Prius is the WORST rollout for a new car I've ever seen.They aren't telling you nothing about the cars specs options or nothing. We don't even know if the engine is different.
