Drove one of these a couple times this week...they really stepped up their game from the last generation. Much better interior and handles like a car now. The looks...well...it grows on you, and in a grey or black all the lines are minimized. Really enjoyed driving it...

Excellent review. I think I found a new favorite reviewer. It was detailed and thorough, but not dull. I love the full HD too. I can't believe there's motorweek videos, even only 2 or 3 years old or so, that are still only 480p or even worse! I saw my first HD tv at a Best Buy in 1998 FFS.

Surprisingly, I saw 5 of these on the road within 2 days. And most of the drivers were young adults 20-34. So these cars really do sell. Toyota must of done something right

I drive the old baby Prius called Auris ( now Corolla ), and I love the Hybride drive. The next car for me will be a Prius for sure.

No i/e AWD on USA models left me out! They offered this option in Japan. So, I left the Prius family after 10 years and purchased a RAV4 Hybrid i/e AWD! I live in Minnesota.

Perhaps I'm the only one, but I love the new styling. They took this car from plain Jane to something sleek IMO. The new interior ( colorful) gauges are much more attractive. It was about time Toyota updated the monochrome display and fonts. I like it! I"m 55 btw, so not just for the younger crowd.

I just saw my first 2016 Prius on the road when it caught my eye at night because I thought it looked so good. I think maybe some of these other posters work for Honda. I do wonder about this new wind tunnel Toyota built to test the aerodynamics of their cars. I'm sure they spent a lot of money on it but in the end they were only able to lower the aerodynamic coefficient by one /one hundredth of one percent over the 3rd generation from .25 to .24. Some reviewers call this huge. Okay...

Correction! Prius looks the way it does, because it is designed by tech driven geeks with poor aesthetics, who likely would not cut it on Tels's design team. This is coming from a former Prius owner who would buy the Model 3 over the Prius 4th Gen, if it were available right now.
