1. Resurrection.
- I've seen it done well but more often than not doesn't need to happen. Superhero comics especially have a big issue with this. Most characters will be back within 1 to 5 years. Marvel did bring back Bucky but there was never a body and it was a retcon I let them get away with that one. It legit wouldn't surprise me if Marvel resurrects Uncle Ben in the main comics continuity at some point though.

You're definitely not alone in the dislike for LaoK and I don't hate you for it. I am one of the group who liked how it ended and still love the series, but I get why many do not. I tend to be a lot more forgiving of "here comes the cavalry" but agree 100% on the hate for Mary Sue/Gary Stu characters and conveniences. There are a few popular series that I ended up disliking specifically because of that trope and my inability to get over it.
