I loved Ilona Andrews’, Edge series. It is an Urban Fantasy Romance. I was waffling on if I was gonna read their KD series. Thanks to you, I’m going to start book 5 soon. I love them!

Im a huge huge Illona Andrews Junkie, cant believe the Magic books are coming to an end, like where will I even go from there??! and Grave Draven's Radiance was such an eye opener for me...So so well written and refreshingly different.Master of Crows and Entreat Me are on my summer potential tbr, hopefully.

Sirius Black's death was the reason I lost interest in the remaining Harry Potter books. There, I totally said it. I totally feel you on that death. :(

Sirius’ death is just one of the reasons The Order of the Phoenix is my least favourite book in the series. I’m really looking forward to reading some Ilona Andrews.

Sirius dying crushed me as a "kid", I must have been 14-15 but I live in a conservative state so they weren't available in elementary or middle school. I was excited to finally get to read the series and then I literally stopped because of his death.
To this day I've not finished the last 2 books in the series and I never watched past the 4th movie because I just absolutely loved him. He was Harry's one chance at a family and to have it taken
It's too bad because I probably would have loved the series in elementary but by high school I was suffering from depression and I just could not handle dark stuff. Basically, if I couldn't be happy i'd at least try to read happy things and I knew it was all downhill after that.
Now as an adult trying to reread the series is just so difficult, at least with the early books which definitely have simpler themes and I have to get through them to get back to the 6th and 7th book.

Yes yes yes I absolutely hate the miscommunication Trope in books it's like just stop take a second and ask what the hell are you talking about before I go and make a bigger mess of everything that's going on in the story. Definitely got to check out Ilona Andrews books they sound very interesting.

I hated, and yes HATE is a strong word and that is exactly why I used it, the ending of Gone Girl. That book could've been an all time classic read had it not been for that BS during the last 25 pages.
