DaVinci Resolve Cant Import Media Fix 2020

In this Tutorial i show you how you fix the problem that imported Footage doenst show up in Davinici Resolve 16. Very easy and fast Fix to get your Videos to edit into Davinci Resolve.

There's another, more prevelant issue (with 17.3 and 17.4) where one cannot see any files in the media browser though they are on the drive. There has yet to a solution to be found. Neither restarting, nor reinstalling, nor converting to a different codec, or remixing to a different container seems to work.

Hey guys make sure the videos you are looking for is an mp4 file as the free version of divinci works best with mp4, any other file type might not appear

The problem that im having is that I tried to import a 38 min clip but only like 10 seconds of the clip is importing and the rest isn't showing up on divinci, but when i import it on imovie the whole video gets imported and works fine. Does anyone know how to fix this??

Didn't worked for me either.

But I got solution now, if your problem was same as me, videos not showing up in folder selected that is because you need to have ARI, MTS, MXF, AVI, CIN, DNG, DPX, CDX, MP4, MXF, EXR, MOV the supported files and that must not be SWF, WMV, MPEG, VOB, FLV, MKV, WEBM, 3GP, RMVB, TS, M2TS, M4V, ASF, these ones.

this literally could be a 5 second tutorial, just say restart davinci resolve 16 xDD. and it doesn't help at all, I tried restarting, it still won't show up
