Yes thats one solution but in my long experience with Resolve.. its usually just only few clips that are offline and the ReLink option doesn't always work! If this is the case for you try deleting your cache and move your playhead to the very start of the project. Wait until the timeline shows that the clips have been rendered then press play. Play through the clips that were previously offline first before continuing to edit. Still not working? Then DELETE ALL CACHE if you hadn't done already.. sometimes it take a couple of tries for the cache to be cleared properly!

Though DaVinci didn't find any clips when I hit the selected folder, the program went into a "Comprehensive Search" and found/replaced all my missing audio clips. A weird hack, but it worked! Amen! God bless you!

Lifesaver! Overnight Resolve decided to make all my clips in the timeline go to offline, but I could see them all in the Media bin. Legend, great video and straight to the point.

i have quite a weird problem. I have two videos with the same framerate, same quality even the same media type (mp4) saved at the exact same location. One works (the shorter clip) one does not, it says media offline but it playbacks the sound. So it finds the file but it doesn't want to work properly.

I could make a short video of the problem and upload it on my channel if you could help me, thanks

I've got a strange question, I want to render a file and have it still be readable in davinci resolve. When I render a video and bring it back into davinci resolve's media pool, it says media offline. Is there any way to export such that this won't happen and I can bring it back into davinci? Maybe a specific setting on the render page like using a specific format or something?

No, after a quick search, my media has NOT been found, DESPITE it being in the EXACT folder I have pointed to. It's 100% IN the folder but DR18.5 is not showing it.

Also have to go to the pain of relinking proxy files. The whole things is an arduous task if your files are neatly organized into different bins. Why does this happen for no apparent reason in the first place?
